| DermaVelvet Ultra Moisturising Creme |
Pat & Joce both have dry skin.We have tried many different types of
cream and some have worked extremely well. They are great. Only
problem is that they are in the $60 and up range. Now that may seem
reasonable for such a quality product. However, when you have kids
&/grandkids who still celebrate birthdays, still believe in Santa Claus, still
need money for sports, trips, etc,grand kids seems quite stiff, almost
sinful. And, even if there aren't any demands from the kids and grand
kids, somehow or other, there are so many things calling out to you that
you either really need or really want that you may find it difficult to
justify such an expenditure. At least, that was our problem. So we
studied up on skin creams and developed our own formula that is composed
of many of the fine products that go into the high end creams and that is
also ultra moisturising. It worked so well for us so we decided to offer it
to our customers. Our thick creme is ultra rich in EFA's (extra fatty
acids) required to repair and rejuvenate skin cells and for moisturising and
long-lasting protection. It is full of skin nourishing oils such as avocado
,calendula and sunflower. We also add oat proteins,
vitamin E, aloe vera, chamomile and, of course,
glycerin,to give it its richness and softness. What we do not put in
artificial preservatives. That means the shelf life of our

As usual, before offering it publicly, we asked some people to try it out
and give us their true opinion. We placed just a smidgen on a little plastic
paddle and asked people to rub it into their hands and onto their
skin...they looked at us as if we were crazy....or CHEAP. Of course we
laughed at their startled looks and told them that no, we were neither
kidding nor cheap. We asked them to try it and see. They couldn't believe
it. It spreads like velvet. A little goes a long way. One surprised lady
told us "It's like the miracle of the loaves and Fishiest just seems to go
on forever".
Use it as a hand cream, rub it on your elbows, knees, legs, arms,
neck...get the picture? Some of our customers have told us that they
use it after shaving and have even lent some to their husbands. Others
have told us they use it as a face cream. But we do not claim that it is
a face cream. We make our VitaDerm Creme especially as a nourishing
face cream. We merely claim that our DermaVelvet Body Butter is
creamy, moisturising, rich and delightful. Whenever the need for some
extra loving for skin exists, our wonderful and lightly scented creme is
ready to step up to the plate.
That's the reason for our name "Derma" which means skin and "Velvet"
which speaks for itself. When Joce spelled the cream
"creme" on the first label, Pat brought her
attention to it. She thought it might be a spelling
mistake. Joce reminded her that our cream was as good
as, if not better than, the very upscale and expensive
creams that we had been using and that our spelling
merely reflected what those creams call themselves. Pat got a laugh out
of that and agreed. So "creme" it is.

butter. It spreads so beautifully and sinks right in." So we now call it our
"body butter" because it is so rich and (almost, but not quite) sinful.

when their skin needs relief against eczema, or dermatitis. But, as we
have already told you, we make no claims in this field. We only report
what we've been told and hope that it is correct.
We suggest you warm a smidgen of creme between your fingertips before
applying. This permits the rich emollients in the creme to become
activated and penetrate even better. As you pat this "butter" onto your
skin, you will immediately feel its soothing benefits.
