Hemp seed oil is high in protein and contains essential fatty acids that are known to repair and replenish skin lipids which are like the brick and mortar that support the wall structure of our skin cells. It also contains natural anti-bacterial properties. Non-drying, it is helpful in maintaining smooth, supple skin.Better yet, hemp seed oil is said to be anti-aging. So why not join both ingredients together to produce a great soap bar? |

| Since the Scent ChickS do have links to the world of science and medicine we wanted to use clay in a soap because we know that it stimulates circulation, removes dead skin cells, absorbs impurities & fats and tones & strengthens connective tissues to leave skin smooth, fresh & radiant. | Of course, while we are at it, we add patchouli essential oil mostly for its warm, earthy fragrance although patchouli in and of itself is both aphrodisiac and astringent. Patchouli was placed between Indian cashmere shawls en route to Victorian England, to protect the merchandise from moths; without this signature smell of dried patchouli leaves the shawls could not be sold in England. So patchouli can also be considered a comfort smell. |

Also we add oatmeal for extra texture and exfoliation. A favourite among men. Also loved by many clients for its rich and light but,at the same time, heady fragrance. And for those who remember Woodstock, well, it's a great reminder of peace and love. Sometimes, we even make it in a peace and love mould, sometimes in a Japanese peace calligraphic mould.
