ourselves. Although we're not cheapies (we do use topnotch quality  
ingredients) we aim at keeping unnecessary costs down and at passing
these savings on to you. Plus it's fun making a site to look and sound
like us. We didn't want a cookie cutter site that, to all intents and
purposes, is only a store. We wanted our site to give you information
about products  so that you will know what we're offering, but, most
especially, what you're getting.
We had no knowledge of HTML.Kim Reynolds of "Wednesday
Woman" (wednesdaywoman.com ) came to the rescue and
suggested Yahoo. She told us that we could design our own
site our own way without any HTML knowledge. Hallelujah!
So this it, glitches and all
We want this site  to be fun, easy to navigate,
user-friendly, chatty and, most of all, informative. That's
why there are so many pages
And so much text. And so many graphics
Lots and lots of it! But not really, bla bla bla!
Each page tries to give you lots of information about the topic on  that
particular page, but, if you're not interested, are in a rush, or only
want to get to the nitty-gritty, you may do so.
To get to the information you want just  press the left side buttons   
and press on the title that interests you. For instance, our page
"About Our Soaps" gives you all kind of information about our soaps,
but if you're only interested in Soy soap, why then, go straight to "
Our Soy Soaps," page.


Of course, we'd love to have you visit all our site because much  love,
time and attention have gone in o it.

How We Made Our Site
Why is Our Photography So Pitiful?
Sorry for the poor quality of the photography. We were simply too
busy devoting our time and attention to the quality of our products to
pay much attention to photography. We were merely taking pictures
for ourselves,  not for the public.
When our friends and customers asked us to set up a web
site to describe our products, we thought the pictures we
had would be O.K. Were we ever wrong! But we made an
executive decision to put the photographs  up on the site just
the same. At least they will give you an idea, albeit poor,  
of what we have. Our faithful clients know our products are  
delightfully attractive and that our pictures do not do them
justice, We will rephotograph our products and repost new
pictures....next year...in 2008!

Our site is  a constant  work in progress because  we
renew our product choices frequently. We try to update  it
as soon as there are changes but, sometimes, life gets in
the way. This past year we have had lots of trouble with our former  
hosting service. We had a site up and running but when we tried to make
changes, we were told that the company's policy  had changed and that we
would have to use the templates provided by the service. We didn't like
them as they didn't reflect the Scent ChickS at all.  So we've been
trying to find a solution. Big problem!
