Our Special Delights
Doesn't this look like a rainbow bouquet? It is a picture of some wedding soaps we made for a bride. She wanted her "bonbonnieres" to be different and thought that giving a gift of soaps would be a nice gesture. She had tried our soaps on different occasions and particularly loved our goat's milk soap. So she asked us to make up some for her in the same shape mould but in different pastel colours as unity in variety was her theme. Since this was a special custom order we scented it according to her request. We promised her we wouldn't use this particular recipe again, except for her. You see, that's the way we are. We are committed to our customers and very happy to comply with their wishes whenever we can. She was thrilled. Apparently her recipients were also because we received calls from many of them who wanted to order more of this soap. Of course, we couldn't comply with that request and explained why They understood and most of them ordered some of our other "non secret" soaps, loved them, and now have become satisfied clients. If any of you would like the same kind of service, we would be more than happy to make something special for you.
B & B Blossoms
There is a lovely B&B nestled in the Gatineau Hills. It has 6 guest rooms and caters to a professional type clientele looking for peace and comfort. The owner came to one of our shows and, anonymously, purchased some of our products.
A few weeks later we received a phone call from her telling us who she was and asking us if we made small soapettes. Well, we had never even considered making any. However, she told us that she was trying to give a special touch to her guest house and simply loved our soap. She wanted small individual soaps for each of her guests that would have a signature fragrance and that she could change every day. She felt that our soaps would be perfect. When we asked her which fragrance she was thinking about, she gave us a few ideas. She told us which particular scents she liked. Something distinctive but not overpowering with a slight floral but not cloying smell, something that smelled fresh and inviting. The idea appealed to us and we told her we were willing to take on the task. So we made up samples, inventing new fragrances that could be found commercially. She smelled them all, liked most of them, and absolutely adored one. So since then we have been providing her with these soapettes. BTW, she chose the mould from our vast assortment. Of course we cannot tell you the ingredients in this soap as the scent was made for this particular client. One of her guests from Northern Ontario owned a gourmet restaurant, loved the soaps, and ordered some for her restaurant with a fruit fragrance. We now provide small soaps to quite a few small businesses of this nature and are always willing to discuss possibilities with new clients. And, if the client wants a custom smell and individual look, we are happy to comply
This soap was made to order for another wedding; the bride wanted to hand out a bar of this soap to each of the wedding guests. She chose a magnolia scent and a pale green colour to complement her scheme. Absolutely gorgeous. If you like this mould and want to order some special soaps for yourself in the scent of your choice, please do contact us. We'll certainly be able to come to a happy agreement. Of course, we do have a minimum. Sorry we don't quote prices online. That would be telling.
2 Hearts Entwined
Pitter Patters
This is a baby powder scented soap we made for a baby shower. The mom-to-be didn't want to say whether she was expecting a girl or a boy, and the hostess didn't want green or yellow. For a while she toyed with the idea of our making them bronze but finally thought that baby white would be the most appropriate. The guests loved them. One of them ordered some baby bear soaps for another baby shower. Sorry, we forgot to take pictures. But we are always delighted to try and fulfil your wishes in the style you want. We want you to be delighted too!

Mysterious Marble
An elegant Silver Anniversary party was being planned. No, not a wedding anniversary. A business anniversary. A small service industry had been in business for twenty-five years and was hosting a gourmet meal at an upscale venue for its employees and customers. It was also giving them a thoughtful gift. This company wanted its party to be distinctive, tasteful and memorable in every way. It didn't want a run-of-the-mill place holder. So it ordered one of our "Mysterious Marble" soaps to hold down each place card. This soap looks like a beautiful polished marble stone with silver overtones. What a novel idea that we were proud to be part of. We are always pleased to work towards implementing others' ideas
