which we put in plain traditional muslin tea bags. Plus, they almost
odourless. Sure, they were beneficial. Very much so. We kept on
making them for ourselves and using them. Now and then we
gave a few away to friends and certain of our customers almost
apologetically. They asked us for extras for themselves and for
their friends. Again and again. That convinced us that they fulfilled a certain
purpose. Plus, as you well know, looks aren't everything. These tub tea bags
contain something extremely great for your well being.
A few years ago,we had read that certain botanicals can provide the most
delightful sensations in a bath. So studied up on this because, as we have
already told you, we are very interested in things pertaining to health, to
well-being and to aromatherapy. After months of research and
experimentation involving all kinds of botanicals, we selected and carefully
blended the dried herbs, dried flowers, seeds and roots
we use in these extraordinary tub teas to provide the
most soothing, relaxing and therapeutic bath teas offered
anywhere. No, these dried flowers and botanicals do not
come from our own garden. We purchase them from the suppliers that we
have found to provide us with the kind and quality we want. But we mix and
blend them ourselves according to the proportions we have found to be the
most satisfying.
They do have a lovely fragrance which is released when the tea bags are
seeped in warm bath water. In addition,the essential oils that we have
added impart a soothing scent to your bath and
transform it into a home spa. One of our customers has
told us a bath using these teas reminds her of a peaceful
Japanese tea garden.
Steep yourself in the aromatic fragrance while your cares seem to melt
away. We have found over time that these tub teas are particularly popular
among men who have found that they really relax sore muscles. Apparently,
they find them great after mowing the lawn,cleaning the
garage, etc. Some have told us they don't like taking
bubble baths but do really enjoy soaking in a tea bath.
To use, simply place the muslin tea bag under the hot water tap or throw it
directly in the tub as you fill your tub with warm water. Let it steep while
you’re getting ready. For an even stronger infusion, heat water in a
separate container and steep one or two tea bags in boiling water for ten
minutes. Then, carefully add the water and the tea bag to your bath water.
Please be careful to check the water before entering not to burn or scald
yourself. Relax and bathe. Discard the tea bag after use. You can always
save it and use it a second time but it won’t be quite as strong. We suggest
you not open the bag to sprinkle its contents in the bath as you'll find the
contents do resemble unstrained tea leaves.
